Understanding your Instinctive Talents and Energies
Learning to Trust your Gut Feelings and Instincts through Kolbe Wisdom.
A 1-day workshop delivered by Dr Stephen Booy, Europe"s leading Kolbe Certified Specialist and conation expert.
Most of us will be aware that we possess a sub-conscious sense of direction, especially when we are under pressure. The resulting "drive" or "energy", which is independent of our personality or cognitive traits, is an essential feature of how we solve problems, make decisions or be creative. This energy is in fact our Conative talent and is how we will act instinctively in many situations.
By understanding Conation and its impact on our individual modus operandi we can:
Learn how to channel our instinctive energy into that which we are naturally good at, and as a consequence, improve our personal productivity and effectiveness.
Better understand why we react negatively to some people, as if they were in conflict with us, even though they are in fact "on our side".
Begin to respect the real potential of a diverse range of possible actions and approaches
Realise why we can become stressed if we are forced to work extensively in a way that is contrary to our instinctive sense of direction.
Talent comes in different forms and managing this talent effectively is critical to today"s successful businesses. The workshop explores the area of talent which is instinctive and natural and considers the opportunities available through the Kolbe Concept.
