Management is a discipline in its own right.

The route to being a manager, at any level, may have been achieved from many different foundations.

For some, its been a natural progression, as a talented professionals your capabilities may have been recognised - so as a reward you are given management responsibilities!

For others it may be something that you have been doing for many years,  gaining more and more responsibilities as time has gone on  -  but are you sure you are still working effectively?

Nobody would argue with the benefits of taking a brief 'step out' of the routine and reviewing the realities.  In fact, some would suggest that this is paramount to being a manager - having some time to 'think'.

This course provides the opportunity to re-visit some of the fundamentals of management, especially in terms of managing people, teams, and meeting your deadlines.  The focus for learning is based on self-assessment of your management style and leadership approach in terms of whether you are working to your strengths.

How can you be effective in your management of others unless your own planning and organisation are working well?  Your visibility should be a 'role model' to others!

Do you know how you are perceived by the team you lead, or how efficient is your task briefing and delegation?

Are your staff telling you what you need to know, or what you want to hear?

Frankly, if you are saying now that "I don't have time to go on a management course"  then you are definelty a candidate for this event!.
