About IEMA
The Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) auditor registration is a practitioner-based scheme of training courses that recognises skills and experience. The IEMA auditor registration scheme retains the criteria set by EARA (Environmental Auditors Registration Association) and as such, maintains its reputation for high standards of training and recognition of the relevant attributes required of environmental auditors. Registration also provides a means of demonstrating auditor skills and experience to present to future employers and other external bodies and gives added credibility to the auditor and their organisation.About IRCA
The International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) is the world's oldest and largest body for auditors and auditor training organisations.The United Kingdom Institute of Quality Assurance developed the Registration Board of Assessors (RBA) in 1984 in response to the UK quality initiative. Quality is now very much a global issue, and the RBA has evolved into IRCA, controlling auditor standards and auditor training course standards around the world.
