An Introduction to the Natural Gas Business

Understanding the gas business

For new and administrative staff in the gas business, or staff in organisations working with the gas industry, who have insufficient understanding of the business. This course provides a full overview of the project life cycle: exploration for gas, gas field development and operations, treatment and processing and transportation of gas. Sales, contracts and project economics are explained. The history of the business, present global issues, markets, future trends and emerging markets are also discussed.

Designed for staff who need a better understanding of the business in order to enhance the effectiveness of their own organisation. The course is designed such that staff with technical and non-technical backgrounds can actively participate. Management, technical or support staff can all benefit from the course.
