In this course we address both the application of eSourcing for the initial, tactical procurement process, from specification to contracting, and of eProcurement for the day-to-day ordering process, from PO to invoice and payment. Topics addressed in this training course include:
  • Initial procurement from specification to contract: topics covered are eSourcing, eTendering, eAwarding and eAuction (reverse auctions), Public procurement and eProcurement. What are the benefits and how to secure them?
  • Operational day-to-day purchasing, from Purchase Order to Invoice and Payment: topics covered are: Procure-to-pay (P2P), electronic ordering, eInvoicing, eTrading, eHubs, supplier portals. What are the benefits, who receives them and how do I achieve them?
  • Catalogue and contract management: Master data synchronisation, Supplier enablement, Supplier connectivity, eHubs and exchanges, Marketplaces.
  • Management support: Spend analysis: what do we buy and from who? Analysis in need of data quality. Buy a system or use an on demand service?
