Communication and Presentation Skills and Techniques

Improve verbal and written communication skills. Effective communication skills are an essential requirement of all employees. The content of this course leads participants through the key techniques of the main facets of communication, providing learning experiences that will develop personal abilities to high standards.


The course will explore in detail both verbal and non-verbal communication characteristics and the importance of body-language expressions. Participants will be challenged through participative exercises and will focus on active listening and observation techniques.

The course will evaluate the critical steps of accomplished writing skills, including report and technical writing and the conversational writing of emails, letters and notices.

Presentation skills are fundamental to today's organisations, requiring the need to communicate key messages, often with influencing expectations which are reliant on the style and competency of a presentation. Participants will learn the principles of a good presentation and will have the opportunity to practice and experience these principles during the course.

The techniques explored and analysed during this highly participative course will provide the learner with a rounded level of competence in all the facets of effective communications. Each participate will return to their workplace with a meaningful action plan for personal development and delivery of the skills learned from the course.
