As an organisation we are accredited by the British Accreditation Council, which enables us to sponsor our participants for Student Visitor Visas. Accreditation of our programmes is provided by OCN Credit4Learning, which gives assurance of course design, quality control and independently assessed outcomes.
The CP Training Consortium was originally formed in 1996 to provide Contracting and Procurement training on an outsourced basis to Shell Group companies.
Since 2000 however, our client base has expanded significantly and includes organisations from a wide range of industrial sectors, such as telecommunications, cement and utilities, as well as a much broader cross section of the oil and gas sector. Please go to the Clients page for a list of clients. In some cases our courses are regarded as stand-alone programmes, in others as complementing the client's own training programme. At the same time the range of subjects taught has broadened to include specialist topics from many disciplines that effect most branches of industry, business and commerce. Our faculty of trainers is drawn from a wide network of training providers and independent training consultants. Our trainers have all had extensive applied experience in their subjects as well as long experience as trainers. Many of them have strong links to academia and possess formal teaching qualifications.
